Doypacks enter the machine at over 260ppm where they are conveyed through a high intensity LED lit tunnel fitted with 4 Gigabit Ethernet cameras.
The cameras detect the orientation and tracking coordinates of the pack and provide the information to the robotic control system.
RML integrated four ABB 1.6m reach IRB360 Flexpicker robots to pick the doypacks and place them onto either the infeed of a horizontal form fill and seal or the infeed of an RML p250 Tray Packer.
